PLS is a high-tech enterprise incorporated in Singapore. PLS team developed high precision laser micro-processing automation equipment, turn-key laser remanufacturing equipment, multi-axis robotic automation flexible production lines, and automatic quality control equipment for high-end applications. The serving sectors include semi-con, hard disk , biomedical , aerospace , E-mobility, Marine, and traditional manufacturing industries.

In 2011, his team collaborated with Prof Lin Li on the R&D of generation of special-shaped nanostructures on hard-disk media surface. The research results were published in international journal of „Nanotechnology.“

In 2019, his team awarded Germany-Singapore Innovation R&D Project with ILT, NTU and EdgeWave.

In 2023 his team awarded the UK-Singapore joint R&D Project with UK MTC, ARTC, NTU, and Farrdy Battery.

Dr. Wu will share insights into the different application-driven machines developed at PLS, highlighting their role in advancing industrial solutions.

History

Dr Wu graduated from NTU in year 2000. He has been working in the laser application industry for 25 years. In 2009, he founded the company PLS In Singapore. PLS is dedicated to customizing the high-end laser manufacturing equipment. Bridging the latest laser application technologies to the real industry with reliable automated laser processing machines, ranging from micro to macro scales applications.

In 2011, his team collaborated with Prof Lin Li  on the R&D of generation of special-shaped nanostructures on hard-disk media surface. The research results were published in international journal of „Nanotechnology.“
